Direct & Indirect Narration [ प्रत्यक्ष एवं अप्रत्यक्ष वर्णन ]

Direct Narration [ प्रत्यक्ष वर्णन ]:-	When we say others speech in the same words and style without any change, is called direct narration. “जब हम वक्ता के कहे हुए शब्दों को बिना किसी परिवर्तन के ज्यों का त्यों कह देते है, तो इसे प्रत्यक्ष वर्णन कहते है l “
उदहारण:-	He said,”I write a letter to my father.”
Inirect Narration [ अप्रत्यक्ष वर्णन ]:-	When we say others speech in our on words and way or express only meaning, is called indirect speech. “जब हम वक्ता के कहे हुए शब्दों को ज्यों का त्यों न कहकर उसका भावार्थ अपने शब्दों में व्यक्त करते है, तो इसे अप्रत्यक्ष वर्णन कहते है l “
उदहारण:-	He said that he wrote a letter to his father.
Parts of Direct Narration:- प्रत्यक्ष वर्णन के भाग	There are two parts of direct speech 1-Reporting Parts [ सूचना देने वाला भाग ] ;2-Reported speech. [ सुचना दिया गया भाग ]
Reported Verb:- सूचना देने वाला भाग	Out side part of double inverted commas[“”] of direct speech is called reporting verb. “डायरेक्ट स्पीच का वह भाग जो दोहरे उलटे विराम चिन्हों [” “]के बाहर होता है, रिपोर्टिंग वर्ब कहलाता है “
Reported Speech:- सूचना दिया गया भाग	In side part of double inverted commas[” “] of direct speech is called reported Speech. “डायरेक्ट स्पीच का वह भाग जो दोहरे उलटे विराम चिन्हों [” “]के अन्दर होता है, रिपोर्टेड स्पीच कहलाता है “
Kinds of Sentences वाक्यों के प्रकार	Direct and Indirect speech is studied in 5 sentences. These five sentences are given below. डायरेक्ट एंड इनडायरेक्ट स्पीच का अध्ययन हम 5 वाक्यों के अंतर्गत करते है l
	1-Assertive Setences [साधारण वाक्य ]
	2-Interrogative Setences [ प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य ]
	3-Imperative Setences [आज्ञासूचक वाक्य ]
	4-Exclamatory Setences [ विस्मयादि बोधक वाक्य ]
	5-Optative Setences [ कामनासूचक वाक्य ]

Main Points of Direct Speech [ डायरेक्ट स्पीच के मुख्य बिंदु ]

1- डायरेक्ट स्पीच में वक्ता के द्वारा कही गयी बातों को [ ” ” ] के अन्दर रखा जाता है l
For Example:-
(i)- He said, “I am a boy.”
(ii)-“Dear students,” said the teacher, “I shall teach you English.“
2- Inverted commas के अन्दर आने वाले वाक्य का पहला अक्षर capital letter में लिखा जाता है l
For Example:- (i)-The teacher said, “You are a naughty boy.”
(ii)-Sarita said to me, “They were playing a football match.”
3- रिपोर्टिंग स्पीच के अंत में अर्थात रिपोर्टेड स्पीच के पहले [,] का प्रयोग किया जाता है l
For Example:-
(i)-He said, “She goes to school.”
(ii)-Prabha will say, “Lata is a good singer.”

4- अगर रिपोर्टिंग स्पीच को रिपोर्टेड स्पीच के बाद रखा जाता है तो रिपोर्टेड स्पीच और रिपोर्टिंग स्पीच के बाद भी [ , ] लगता है l
For Example:-
(i)-“Dear mother”, says Sohan, ” I am suffering from fever.”
(ii)-“You are a fool”, said the girl.
5- अगर रिपोर्टेड स्पीच कई खंडो में हो हो तो केवल पहले खंड का पहला अक्षर capital letter में लिखा जाता है l
For Example:-
(i)- “Children”, said the teacher, “Learn your lesson.”
(ii)- “Take this”, said he to him, “It is your book.”
6- रिपोर्टेड स्पीच के अन्दर आये हुए संबोधन के शब्द के बाद [ , ] लगाया जाता है l
For Example:-
(i)-I said to him, “Rajoo, I am going to your home.”
(ii)-She said to you, “Neeraj, follow me.”
7- रिपोर्टेड स्पीच के अन्दर आये हुए संबोधन के शब्द के बाद [ , ] लगाया जाता है l
8- रिपोर्टिंग स्पीच में आये हुए प्रोनाउन के परसन में कोई बदलाव नहीं करते है l
